Skype video conferencing
A couple of months ago, I posted an entry about multi person video conferencing for Skype using MeBeam.
The solution was unique, in that it enabled anyone on Skype to establish a video conference with up to 16 other people directly from Skype, without the need to download any software. The service turned out to be a lot more popular than I had expected, and as a result, it was taken down only after a few days, until a more robust back-end could be designed.
The service is now up and running again, so please feel free to try it out, and get back to me with your comments and suggestions.
So, if your using Linux, Mac, or Windows, and want video conferencing for up to 16 people, without the need to download or install any plugins or software, then click the following link.
Click here to add 'MeBeam video chat' to your contact list
If the link does not work, then add 'MeBeam video chat' as a Skype contact
Ty for this , we waited for so long
to have multiple video and skype !!

How does this works? After adding MeBeam to our contact list...

Nobody has a clue how this works. Even admin of this site doesn't know. Total waste of time. ooVoo and stickam are good alternatives.

I have added MeBeam to contact list but MeBeam hasn't shared back any details. Anyone know if this contact still live etc etc?

I'd love to use this but when I add "MeBeam Video Chat" as one of my SKYPE contacts, it stays in PENDING status and never gets any further. I suppose if the request was "accepted", it would work. Seems like I am not the same one with this problem.
Little help?

Mebeam has offered a facinating feature through skype video conferencing. Its an awesome service without any need to download softwere or plugins with quality video conferencing connecting up to 16 people

I just tried it. I sent the contacts to MeBeam but Skype returned a fail error.
It'd be SO much easier if Skype enabled this feature within the program.
