Would it be possible to to set up our own MeBeam server locally for multi-user video conferences within our own group of users at a non-profit company? For instance, we run our own Jabber server (instead of using outside AOL/etc) - this would be similar - thanks!

i second the idea of having the system hosted locally. We use Jabber today to manage our IM internally but have about 1200 people now on Skype as well.

I think you have hit a common problem with multi-video services = bandwidth. With over 10m users of skype on line, there is a market, just how to market it is the question.

Looking for a way to deliver support group services to a geographically diverse group. Skype video conferencing looks like an ideal platform.

Is there any news on whether this is fixed and the service now available? I need to setup a video conference for next week, so I'm researching options at the moment - this sounds really good, if it is working again?
