MiniMe with MySpace
In my previous post, I introduced MiniMe, a cut down version of MeBeam,which is ideal for embedding inside your blog, forum, and in respect to this post MySpace.
Personally, I am not a big fan of MySpace, but there is no denying it's a massively popular social networking site and what better way to socialize, then by seeing and talking to others on your page.
The following snippet of code, is what I have pasted into my About me section, and you can see the result of it by visiting my page at www.myspace.com/apakian
<object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowScriptAccess="never" allowNetworking="internal" height="460" width="323" data="http://www.mebeam.com/minime.swf">
<param name="allowScriptAccess" value="never" />
<param name="allowNetworking" value="internal" />
<param name="movie" value="http://www.mebeam.com/minime.swf" />
<param name="quality" value="high" />
<param name="flashvars" value="room=ashods_myspace" />
</object>
<param name="allowScriptAccess" value="never" />
<param name="allowNetworking" value="internal" />
<param name="movie" value="http://www.mebeam.com/minime.swf" />
<param name="quality" value="high" />
<param name="flashvars" value="room=ashods_myspace" />
</object>

You need to make a single-shot version of minime and/or add a simple password script to each video input (like coffecup scripts would embed within your minime code very nicely). Also, no matter the browser, my cam works in the upper left, but the whole frame is only the upper left crop of my whole camera's framing! Let's please get that fixed also. No other cam software I use exhibits this cropping issue at all.

the upper left frame that my video loads into is cropped to the upper left framing of my whole webcam shot! That can be fixed by you - no other cam soft that I use exhibits this issue at all! Also, try adding some simple coffeecup scripts (coffeecup.com, actually) to add password cover for the other frames. Also, can you please make a single shot embeddable frame for MySpace/Facebook/website use? The 4-up is nice, but not always desirable for those of us with low screen real estate. Perhaps add in frame quantity/alignment choice in the code that we can change; like 1-up, 3 across, 3 down, 2-up, 2-down, 2-across, 4-up in a cube (like it is now), 4 across, 4 down (would be handy for blogspot side placement)
