Meet MeBeams little bro, MiniMe - a portable version of MeBeam that you can use on top of your blog , web page, or forum.Please keep in mind, this is a pre-alpha release and may not work all the time.
MiniMe can handle 4 people in your room, but will generate an unlimited number of sub-rooms automatically.
To add MiniMe to your site, copy and paste the code at the end of this post, and remember to name your room.
<object width='323' height='460' id='zuhzy' align='middle'>
<param name='allowScriptAccess' value='always' >
<param name='movie' value='http://www.mebeam.com/minime.swf'>
<param name='quality' value='best' >
<param name='scale' value='noscale' >
<param name='salign' value='t' >
<param name='flashvars' value='room=blogroom'>
<embed flashvars='room=blogroom' src='http://www.mebeam.com/minime.swf' quality='best' scale='noscale' salign='t' width='323' height='460' name='zuhzy' align='middle' allowScriptAccess='always' type='application/x-shockwave-flash' pluginspage='http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer' >
</object>
<param name='allowScriptAccess' value='always' >
<param name='movie' value='http://www.mebeam.com/minime.swf'>
<param name='quality' value='best' >
<param name='scale' value='noscale' >
<param name='salign' value='t' >

</object>
I changed the room variable and embedded it, but it still shows the existing video feed of the kitchen. Very cool if it works though!

I just tried to upload the minime code for myspace and the general minime code onto my site and neither worked.
The general code left a blank page and the myspace code left a broken image box.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks

Hi there,
how can I use this code snippet and display ona 1 webcam over the full space?

There is a major problem with the MiniMe. Although you are not limited by the text that you type into the MiniMe, but once you press enter for the text to appear for everyone else to view, that is where it becomes limited and not all the text message that you've typed, shows up. Please resolve this issue, so that if someone types a message that is longer than the width of MiniMe, the entire message will be viewable, once you press enter. It would also be nice if there was a Send or Enter button within the MiniMe.
