A small feature will be added to MeBeam tonight, to help people find others to chat with. If you create a MeBeam video room, with the last character of it's name being a dollar sign (the $ key which is used in money) the room will be made public.
e.g BensRoom$ is a public chat room.
The list of public chat rooms can be found by clicking the chat rooms link which
is located on the MeBeam site.
The list of rooms will be updated every few seconds, and because it's based on
Ajax technology, there will be no need to refresh the page..
This is an awesome site. The idea behind it is unbelieveable, and it's very well implemented! Congrats on such a wonderful web-based videochat!

Thank's Alex,
It's always good to hear someone likes what we're doing.
Without sounding like a dork, "you guys ain't seen nothing yet" ,,
Nope, there's no way around, that comment makes me sound like a dork.
But seriously, there's a lot being added to MeBeam, but I'm constantly agonizing over which way to best release something new, without the need to have to learn anything new...
Nothing worse, than great technology, which over time just gets bigger and fatter, with features that serve no purpose, other than to give the illusion, the technology is evolving and improving.
It's better to spend a few extra months, really planning things out, and trying your best to imagine how your users will feel using your product.
Developers, have been experts in computing for so long, they simply can't remember what it's like for things not to come naturally.
The result - the majority of the people online, who aren't developers, just can't get comfortable with new things.
I always use my friends as a benchmark - because if they can use it, believe me, anyone can. [ sorry Enzo ;-) ]
Anyway, I've rambled on enough, thanks for comment mate.
